Cottey College esports went on the road to take on the Simpson College Storm. The series has become a nice friendly rivalry, as both teams have enjoyed the narrow margin of victory that seems to be a hallmark of the matchups.

In Overwatch, it was Cottey's day, completing a 3-0 sweep. It was the Comet Overwatch squads' first victory in the fall semester, hoping to be a galvanizing moment for the rest of the season. Sophmore Kyleigh Sigears played the Tank role, being the leader on the virtual field. Fellow Sophomore Victoria Wright was a key contributor as a DPS player, alongside Freshman Circe Tosta who was also on the DPS role. In the Support role, Comets had a nice trio of Freshman Shelby Wines, and Juniors Ella Sapinoso and Daphne Hedrick. The team worked well adjusting to the Storm's plays, countering their way to a dominating victory.

Super Smash Bros went the way of Simpson, a 0-2 Loss. The contest was completed in a modified format, with the Comets coming up just a bit short. This is the first season for the Comets to compete in Smash Bros. Sophomore Kuiper Naefe led the way for the Comets, with promising Freshman Aviana Broadfoot and Caroline Ferguson making huge strides each and every day. 

The final match was Valorant, with the Comets winning a 2-1 barnburner. Each game was close, and it is likely the two match up again in the NACE playoffs.
