Cottey wins their 10th straight game and sweeps their 5th straight opponent.   The Comets have improved to 12-6 on the season. 

Game 1:

Pitcher Lacey Cruz put on a dominant performance only giving up 2 runs on 2 hits while striking out 10. 

Outfielder Karina Ramirez and Second Baseman Aryana Palencia both batted in 2 runs while Short Stop Maya De Sota brought in 1.

Game 2:

The bats came alive in the second game with 7 different Comets hitting doubles. 

Outfielder Karina Ramirez, Catcher Lauren Johnson, and Second Baseman Aryana Palencia all homered in the game as well. 

Karina Ramirez batted in 5 runs while Johnson, Palencia, and Hurst all brought in 2 a piece. 

The Comets are back on the road on Tuesday against Warner.   Game times are at 5pm and 7pm.
