Comets Compete Across Region with Strong Performances in Golf and Track & Field
COTTEY, Mo. — Cottey College athletics saw an impressive week of competition as the Comets golf and track & field teams delivered standout performances highlighted by personal bests, school records, and conference-leading marks.
Golf Continues Steady Improvement
The Cottey golf team competed in a multi-round tournament last week, continuing to show growth and consistency throughout the lineup. The Comets posted improved scores across rounds, with several athletes recording personal best performances and key milestones during competition.
Multiple players turned in career-low rounds while gaining valuable experience in tournament play. The team also demonstrated increased consistency from round to round, a key area of focus as the Comets progress through the spring season.
Cottey will look to build on this momentum in upcoming competitions as they continue to refine both individual and team scoring strategies.
