Set 1: Cottey 25 – Hannibal-LaGrange 20
Hannibal-LaGrange had a quick start with a 6-3 lead over your Cottey College Comets until Ali Dawson set the pace with a six point service run and Cottey College never looked back.  The Comets closed out Set 1 with a 25-20 lead with a kill from Ali Dawson.   
 
Set 2: Cottey 25 – Hannibal-LaGrange 21
The second set was a back and forth battle until Cottey was able to string together some points thanks to a service run by Ali Dawson.  Cottey cruised to a set 2 win of 25-21 as the teams head into Set 3 of the Match.

Set 3: Cottey 14 – Hannibal-LaGrange 25
Hannibal-LaGrange jumped to a quick 5-0 lead and Cottey was unable to recover as Hannibal-LaGrange wont Set 3 25-14 over Cottey College.  
 
Set 4: Cottey 22 – Hannibal-LaGrange 25
Hannibal-LaGrange sent the match to a fifth set after leading most of the fourth set.  Cottey fought hard and pulled to within two of Hannibal with a three point service run by Valencia Zamora.  However, a final kill by Myrnaliz Perez of Hannibal tied the match at 2-2 and forced a fifth set for the conference foes.  
 
Set 5: Cottey 15 – Hannibal-LaGrange 9
The decisive fifth set saw the schools neck and neck until halfway through the set when Cottey went on a 5-0 run to finish off the game led by service and a final kill from Alli Jo Mitchell to end the game.
 

Ali Dawson led the Cottey College Comets with 17 digs and 21 kills on 45 total attacks.  Staley Stallaby and Alli Jo Mitchell with a combined 49 assists
